Train & play in front of pro club scouts
How do we get you scouted?
Our job is to put you in front of as many football club scouts as possible. All you need to do is book your trial, and turn up on the day! Our trials are suitable for players from the ages of 7 to 17 (u8-u18). We also hold showcase match trials for older players, which are suitable for ages u16-u21, and exit / academy experience trials, which are suitable for players with a minimum 12 months' academy experience. All our trials have both outfield & GK specific sections and welcome both male and female players on all trials which up to u18s.
What To Expect
The first thing to say is that obviously you'll be nervous, but don't worry! All you can do is try your best. And our trials are purposely designed to be as fun and stress free as possible! Schedule for trial days: 1. Greeted at the venue by Pro11 staff and complete registration process 2. Briefing on what to expect on the day, including introduction to the scouts 3. Out for trial - a warm-up, and then 45/50 minutes of various academy level drills, age appropriate in a enjoyable environment, including lots of support from our friendly coaches. Then a match! 4. Debrief to the parents and players, advising which clubs have been in attendance and which players they are interested in. Feedback is then available from our coaches to find out what you did well and what you can improve on.
What happens when you get scouted?
You will usually find out at the end of the event if you have interest from any of the clubs attending and will then receive email confirmation and information regarding next steps from us within 48 working hours. And if you don't get scouted... don't worry, you won't leave with nothing. You'll have had feedback on your game, and the chance to train at an academy level. And we hope you'll also be leaving with new skills and having had an enjoyable time! If needed, our coaches can point you in the right direction to help you develop as a player. And there is always next time!
