Ashley Sangarwe attended trials with us in Birmingham and Manchester in 2021 and 2023, and on both occasions he attracted interest from several pro clubs.
At the event in Manchester in March 2023 he was scouted by a representative from Port Vale FC who moved quickly to bring him in and, following a successful trial period, he was signed the very next month!
We have now had the fantastic news that Ash has been with the club ever since, and has now been awarded a scholarship 🎓

Isaac Bell signed for AFC Fylde early in 2025 as an u11, after attending a Pro11 Trials event in Merseyside the previous November, where he gained interest from several pro clubs.
We’re delighted to share that Isaac has been retained by AFC Fylde for the 26-27 season!
His parents have very kindly shared an updated photograph, saying:
‘Isaac’s football is going really well. Isaac has developed a lot over the course of last season and finished it really strongly. He has re-signed with AFC Fylde for the new season. The new season ahead is looking very exciting for the players involved with the academy!
It is an incredible set up at AFC Fylde and a perfect environment for Isaac to grow and express himself.
Really appreciate you asking about how he’s getting on and again a big thank you for providing this platform to make these experiences possible!’

Romario Kalsi signed to Birmingham City at u9, after impressing pro club scouts at a Pro11 trial in Birmingham in April 2023.
Romario’s parents have let us know that he is now starting his 4th season at the club as an u13 👊

Another fantastic update on Cornelius! 🤩
After training with the Future Clarets before summer, Cornelius has now been asked to join their Elite U8s.
Since attending our pre-academy event in April this talented young footballer has had offers to train with pre-academy groups from 5️⃣ different professional clubs, as well as gaining interest from several others along the way. It certainly looks as though one of them will be offering to sign him very soon!
