Matthew Loizou – Outfield & Goalkeeper Coach

Matt has been playing football for over 17 years, including 3 years with Altrincham FC Youth Team, during which the team won the Cheshire Cup and also allowed him to participate in the FA Youth Cup. During his playing career, he has been fortunate enough to compete internationally in Ireland and Spain, while also having spells at numerous professional clubs, including Oldham & Bury.

With over 7 years of coaching experience across all age groups, Matt has been involved in Youth, College and Grassroots football, including roles in 1-1 development and soccer schools, which led to becoming a development scout for Fleetwood Town.

Matt currently holds the FA Level 2 Coaching Badge with UEFA B in progress, as well as a Goalkeeper coaching badge, so he can support and provide excellent feedback to both outfield & GK sections for Pro11 on trial days!
