Another great news story today, and this one is very special, as this young man has impressed all of us here at Pro11 with his dedication and perseverance!
We’re delighted to announce that Harvey Pownall has signed for Flint Town United u16 
Flint, whose 1st team are in the Welsh Premier League, identified Harvey at our North Wales / Chester event last August. Harvey had attended a couple of previous events in Manchester, gaining interest from several pro clubs and resulting in a trial period with a championship club academy.
Flint then spotted Harvey again playing in our open age showcase in Manchester in June, and arranged for him to come straight in for a trial period. Harvey was soon offered to sign with the club, which is a fantastic achievement and a huge step forward on his football journey 
Harvey’s journey so far was featured in a reel and TikTok for Pro11, and we’re looking forward to sharing more details with you soon – watch this space
