Further easing of restrictions
As before, Pro11 will follow the FA guidelines in regards to all our trial events. As restrictions continue to ease, we feel it is wise to proceed cautiously and will still have in place some of the additional safety measures in line with government recommendations. If you are travelling to a trial from outside England, e.g. Wales or Scotland, please abide by any restrictions that are in place for your area.
Please arrive no more than 10-15 minutes prior to the time stated on your confirmation email. Please wait in your vehicle where possible until this time. On arrival players should report to the red gazebo situated near to the pitch entrance to register attendance and be issued with a numbered bib. Should a player be delayed in arrival due to traffic etc, they must make yourself known to a Pro11 staff member immediately on arrival, DO NOT enter onto any of the pitches. On arrival, trialists are immediately separated into age groups and sent directly to their relevant pitch, and will remain in this ‘bubble’ for the whole of the trial event.
All our events are conducted wholly outdoors. This means that there will no indoor space available to shelter in the event of bad weather, but parents are welcome to wait in their cars, if they have come in one. Briefing and debriefing will be conducted in an outdoor space, and registration will continue to be conducted online prior to the event to avoid queues.
In order to ensure that those who wish to can still keep to social distancing, we will continue to limit the number of trialists attending our events.
We are still asking for your co-operation in ensuring that the smallest possible number of guests attend our trials, as some venues still have limits imposed upon them. Therefore, wherever possible, we are asking that all trial participants under the age of 18 be accompanied to the event by a maximum of 1 adult (e.g. parent, grandparent, relative or carer). Also, please respect social distancing if viewing the event from around the pitch.
As we are participating in a sporting activity with children, we will not require trial participants to wear a face mask. However, staff, scouts and parents / guardians may still wear face masks if they wish.
Track & Trace
The information provided to Pro11 Trials when completing your Player Registration (the Booking Form) will also serve as Track & Trace Information for trial participants, in the event of an outbreak.
Cancellation / Refund Policy
Our cancellation and refund policy will remain relaxed to include players and direct family members of players who are self-isolating because of a positive COVID-19 test, COVID-19 symptoms, or because they have been advised to do so by Track & Trace.
If anyone who has booked on to a trial event cannot attend due to self-isolation, they will receive a full credit for any monies paid. This credit will then be available to use against a trial event on any other date or at any other location, for up to 12 months from the date of the original trial. If this is not possible, then a full refund will be issued. Cancellations can be made at any time prior to an event starting by email, telephone call, social media message or text message.
