Precautions due to new COVID-19 Variant
As before, Pro11 will follow the FA guidelines in regards to all our trial events. With concerns regarding the new Omicron variant we feel it is wise to proceed cautiously and with immediate effect will be re-implementing some of our previous safety protocols, in line with government recommendations.
If you are travelling to a trial from outside England, e.g. Wales, Ireland or Scotland, the advice as always is to please abide by any restrictions that are in place for your area.
Please arrive no more than 10-15 minutes prior to the time stated on your confirmation email. Please wait in your vehicle where possible until this time. On arrival players should report to the red gazebo situated near to the pitch entrance to register attendance and be issued with a numbered bib.
Should a player be delayed in arrival due to traffic etc, they must make yourself known to a Pro11 staff member immediately on arrival, DO NOT enter onto any of the pitches.
On arrival, trialists are immediately separated into age groups and sent directly to their relevant pitch, and will remain in this ‘bubble’ for the whole of the trial event.
All our events are conducted wholly outdoors. This often means that there will no indoor space available to shelter in the event of bad weather, but parents are welcome to wait in their cars, if they have come in one.
Briefing and debriefing will be conducted in an outdoor space, and booking, payment and player registration will continue to be conducted online prior to the event to avoid queues.
In order to encourage social distancing, we will continue to limit the number of trialists attending our events.
We are again asking for your co-operation in ensuring that the smallest possible number of guests attend our trials. Therefore, wherever possible, we are asking that all trial participants under the age of 18 be accompanied to the event by a maximum of 1 adult (e.g. parent, grandparent, relative or carer). Please respect social distancing if viewing the event from around the pitch.
As we are participating in a sporting activity with children, we do not require trial participants to wear a face mask. However, staff, scouts and parents / guardians may still wear face masks if they wish. Masks are not currently compulsory in outdoors spaces, however we strongly recommend they be worn where at all possible. Disposable masks will be available on arrival for anyone who wishes to use them.
Track & Trace
The information provided to Pro11 Trials when completing your Player Registration (the Booking Form) will also serve as Track & Trace Information for trial participants, in the event of us being required to supply this information for Track & Trace purposes.
Cancellation / Refund Policy
Our cancellation and refund policy will remain relaxed to include players and direct family members of players who are self-isolating because of a positive COVID-19 test, COVID-19 symptoms, or because they are awaiting the results of a PCR test.
If anyone who has booked on to a trial event cannot attend due to COVID symptoms or self-isolation, they will continue to receive a full credit for any monies paid to be used against a trial event on any other date or at any other location for up to 12 months from the date of the original trial, or a full refund. Cancellations can be made at any time prior to an event by email, telephone call, social media message or text / WhatsApp message.
Should you need any further information regarding any of the above, please don’t hesitate to contact us by emailing email@example.com or calling us on 0161 850 8787
